Scott Hamlin is the Southwest Territory Representative for Darton Archery, Black Eagle Arrows, and Conquest Archery, and has become a respected and influential figure within the archery community. His involvement in the sport dates back to the early 1980s, when he began competing as a junior archer shooting barebow and Olympic recurve.

A decade later, Scott transitioned into compound archery, where he developed a lifelong passion for high-level competition. Throughout his extensive career, he has competed at the highest levels of the sport, with brief breaks along the way to raise a family and pursue competition in professional bass fishing.

Today, Scott competes as a Senior Open Pro on the ASA Tour, while continuing to participate in other archery disciplines whenever time allows. His experience across multiple formats of archery gives him a unique and well-rounded perspective as both a competitor and mentor.

In addition to his competitive career, Scott serves as the Director of Athlete Development for the Enduring Freedom Academy in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, he works closely with developing athletes pursuing Olympic and professional archery careers. His dedication and commitment to athlete development reached a historic milestone when his six-year student, Jason Tabansky, earned Gold at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Scott has guided numerous archers into professional competition, many of whom now compete on major tours across the United States. With a proven track record of athlete success, he travels both domestically and internationally conducting training camps for athletes and coaches, focused on advancing technical mastery and long-term development in the sport of archery.
