Josh Jacobson is a 41-year-old archer originally from Colorado who was introduced to archery through bowhunting. What began as a hunting pursuit quickly became a major passion, leading him into several different archery pro shops. It was through his time in an archery shop that Josh was first introduced to the world of competitive archery.

In 2021, Josh purchased his first target archery setup and has since fallen in love with the competitive side of the sport. He now competes nationally with the ASA in the Semi-Pro class. For the season, Josh’s primary goal is to truly enjoy his time behind the bow, with a secondary goal of shooting an even round at the national level.

Josh is grateful for the opportunity to represent Team Bow Shack this season and values being part of a team alongside some of his closest friends. Having the opportunity to attend coaching and teaching sessions at Oklahoma Shooting Academy has been a major benefit to his shooting development. He credits Ryan’s skill and knowledge as a coach for continued improvement.
