Bowology is the official training system of the Oklahoma Shooting Academy, structured like an academic program with clearly defined class levels—each designed to build on the last and guide archers through a complete development path. Bowology 101: Beginner’s Guide to Archery introduces the fundamentals, focusing on proper shot execution, stance, grip, anchor points, and equipment understanding. Bowology 201: Foundations of Archery builds consistency by refining form, improving shot control, and placing a strong emphasis on the mental side of archery, including learning how to execute under pressure. Bowology 301: Next Level Intermediate transitions archers into competitive performance, emphasizing advanced shot execution, tuning, and course management as skills begin to translate to real tournament scenarios.
At the top level, Bowology 401: Master’s Class – Advanced Archery Training is built for serious archers who want to compete and perform at a high level. This course focuses on advanced tuning, mental management, pressure shooting, and high-level decision-making in tournament environments. Alongside these core classes, Bowology Select offers specialty sessions that target specific skills such as judging distance, shot execution, tuning, aiming, target panic, and course management. Together, this academy-style structure creates a complete system that takes an archer from learning the basics all the way to mastering the mental and physical side of competition.
